- What is today's gold rate in Nellore?
- The current 22K and 24K rates are shown at the top of every page on this site and are updated through the day. The rate is confirmed at the time of billing — call +91 99893 32516 to lock a price.
- How is the price of a gold coin worked out?
- Weight in grams multiplied by the day's rate, plus 2% making charge, plus 3% GST. Every coin on our gold coins page shows those three figures separately, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
- Do you buy old gold?
- Yes. We buy old gold outright and we also take it in exchange against new pieces. Purity is tested in front of you and you see the reading before any figure is discussed. Payment for an outright sale is immediate.
- What are the making charges on ornaments?
- Making charges on ornaments vary by piece, because the work involved differs — a plain chain and a temple haaram are not comparable. We quote the making charge on the piece you are looking at, before you commit. Coins are the exception: they carry a flat 2%.
- Is your gold hallmarked?
- Our gold coins are BIS-hallmarked 24K 999 and 22K 916. Hallmarking details for any ornament are shown with the piece and can be checked in the shop.
